Vampire Knight 01
For someone like me who haven’t read the VK manga, I got curious with the anime so I downloaded episode 1 and I’m happy that I did. :) First, I like the art and animation. It really gave me a vampire-ish feeling and gawd, all the boys are bishies. <3 (my fangirl side, sorry. lmao). Yuki is cute too and episode 1 is just awesome for me. Second, I find the opening song very catchy and I think I like it. Third, I really like the story, I’m hoping to see lots of action and love (but it’s shoujo, right?) I think I’m going to follow this series till the end.

When Yuki was still a child, she got attacked by a vampire in the woods but she was saved by Kaname, who turned out to be a vampire too. Kaname bought her to Kaien Cross who became her poster father. Years later, Yuki is now a student in Cross Academy (where her father is the chairman). There, she is one of the prefects (the other is Zero, also adopted by Kaien Cross) and their job is to make sure that the day class students are not lurking around during the night class. It is later revealed that this is because the night class students are actually vampires.
Episode Highlights
- Yuki doesn’t remember anything before the vampire attack incident.
- Zero’s family was killed by evil vampires and so that’s why Zero hates vampires.
- Aidou-sempai sucked Yuki’s blood (in her hand). This was seen by two day class female students but their memories of this incident were altered.
- At the end of the episode, it was shown that Zero is a vampire too.

I haven’t read the manga either, but I know a thing or two about it because my friends read it. Honestly, I didn’t like how Zero was animated. Kaname was more handsome in the animation too and Yuki is cuter. I’m expecting more screen time for Shiki because I’m a fan. Ahihihi!
Musical scoring should be improved too, btw~!

Ahehe.. Masyadong mabilis ang pace ng story sa anime. Mabilis na nga sa manga e.. ^^;; Sa manga kasi matagal pa bago pinahalata na vampire nga si (My dear) Zero. Mas gusto ko naman si Yuki sa manga, and si Zero din. Hahaha! Ngayon ko nga lang din napansin si Shiki e, masyado kasi akong focused kay Zero… *evil laugh* XD
I think the songs are good as well, pero mas may ii-improve pa siya. ^^

I was really hoping that they’ll animate VK because its still tiring reading the whole manga, though i’m very enthusiast reading the whole manga XDD!! Ang hey~ Yuki Kurosu is still kawaii but it kinda change the view when colored aside from B&W. I think manga graphics are better????!! XDD!! Well, i think its more alive XDD!! ahahaha~~ oh well…!
Anyhoo, bishounens and bishoujo are in there so we’ll going to love the VK animated^^.
PS: I’m curious about the opening and ending songs XDD!! MAGANDA BA?! XDD!!!
Justice was done to all the characters’ design except for Zero. And Zero is my favorite!!!
The OP and ED were okay. I second Llyngee, Zero’s story ran fast.
