Yay for comedy anime! <3 and aaaw for long legs! :o (For me, only holic has the right to have characters with long legs, lmao) Well, this episode is so funny for me - I love it! I’m putting all my hopes that future episodes will be funnier. :3 I love HikarixKei! I want to see what will happen to their, err… love storyrivalry? (Oh noes! I hope I won’t be tempted to read the manga!) I really love when Kei calls Hikari ni-san and her reaction is just so funny! LOL I think I’m overusing the word ‘funny’ here.

Anyway, the first few scenes (the childhood scenes) really gave me an idea that it’s a wrestling anime and I’m glad it’s not because I hate sports anime (except for Slam Dunk).

The first episode is as usual (like any other) an introduction of the story and characters. Special A is about Hanazono Hikari being only second to Takishima Kei in almost everything. It started when Takishima defeated her in a wrestling match during their childhood (both of their fathers were wrestling fanatics). And so after that, Hikari keeps on challenging him, to the point that she asked her dad to enroll her in the school where Takashima is currently in.

Episode Hightlights
- Other Special A students were introduced - Yamamoto Jun, Yamamoto Megumi, Karino Tadashi, Toudou Akira, Tsuji Ryuu
- In this episode, Hikari challenged Takashima in PE and in an exam but lost both.
- Hikari and Kei fought some nasty students who sneaked into the teacher’s faculty (?) to see the exams questions.
- Takashima Kei (and the rest of S.A) celebrated his birthday in this episode too.
- Yamamoto Megumi can destroy the whole school with her singing.
